Trust me, hormones can REALLY do a number on you ... try to make it through "this time of the month" and you'll probably be feeling better.
I have a lot of problems with moodiness, feeling down in the dumps, etc. and I really feel a lot better if I'm doing something useful (preferably something useful that ought to have been done eight months ago). Unfortunately if you're feeling crappy then it's hard to get started because all you want to do is eat junk food and read trashy books.
Try not to get too upset about your husband. I guess I don't know anything about your relationship other than what you mentioned, but mine could be a space alien for all I understand about him. And vice versa. He also knows by now when I'm feeling weepy and hormonal and generally tries to either stay away from me or buy me chocolate. I mean, I always *think* that I want to cling to him when I'm feeling weepy and hormonal, but really, it is just a secret excuse to pick a fight so I have a reason to hate his guts. No matter how rational a woman is, she is never rational when she is being taken over by hormones!! I have no idea what your question was, but what might be a "simple" question to one person might seem to be loaded/barbed/sarcastic to another person. My husband also gets bent out of shape sometimes too when I think I'm asking a "simple" question.
Be sure to keep in close contact with your doctor as you continue to stay off (or go off?) the Effexor -- some people need to come off a lot more gradually than others. And if you continue to have anxiety issues, maybe you need to look into another anti-depressant. I know that each AD tends to be completely different for each person, so if Effexor isn't right for you, maybe there's something else. If you just don't want to take ADs at all, there's also stuff like hypno or acupuncture that's supposed to work well for anxiety.
I hope you're feeling better!!
