I can`t believe how old you are either! poor u for getting it so early but its good it has been confirmed as ibs...i`m still waiting. It`s hard but a positive attitude certainly helps...and u seem to have that. Periods are rubish, I can tell u that. my ibs goes alot worse with them (had lots of prblems with periods too) good luck with everything, if you need anyone to chat to feel free to email.
Jaq = welcome! I `m from England too, there are quite a few of us british (nat and blondie are two of them...lovely girls i`m such a suck up) this site and message board are a great help so happy posting, use it as much as you can, and feel free email too.
