Disability Insurance       05/15/06 08:06 AM Edit Reply Quote jv070302 Reged: 05/15/06 Posts: 1 I have been on short term disability since 3/17/06 and the insurance carrier continues to disallow my claim. I had had four surgies in the past two years including adhessions and hernia surgery as recently as 12/05. Upon my return to work in February, the physical and stress loads were too much to handle. I was frequently in the restroom and in severe pain immediately after using the facilities. I am not able to put things up that I have dropped to the floor or tie my shoes. I cannot lay on my stomach to sleep. Please let me know if anyone has any thoughts on maybe the "key phases" that the insurance company is looking for. My company has terminated my position due to the lack of my "reliabilty" to report to work. Surely that must indicate that this is a necessary claim. Thank you.
