Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

After taking an extended leave from the boards to straighten up my life I am finally back.

Things have really improved for me in the past few months. I quit my old job since my boss was was becoming verbally and mentally abusive (scary since he is a psychologist) plus I was working 10-12 hour days and being paid for only 8, suffering from insomnia and having my IBS acting up as a result of it. I have a great new job with a boss who is extremely supportive of everyone who works under her. She is also even understanding about my health (IBS and back problems) that I am really wondering how I got so lucky.

For the first time I have a staff that works under me (I feel so pampered). The first few weeks they thought I was a bit strange about my diet since I was always bringing in "weird" combinations for lunch and avoiding the brought in snack. Now they have embraced the IBS desserts since they consider dessert to be healthy.

I am sleeping now without having to take sleeping pills, my IBS is under control (no episodes in three months!!!) and I am a much happier person. Working out, a new hairdo and outlook of just staying positive. I am looking forward to catching up with everyone. *hugs*
