Cheer me up       03/12/06 10:22 AM Edit Reply Quote pinkprincess Reged: 08/17/05 Posts: 415 Loc: Manchester, u.k Sorry to put such a downer on the lively posts we have at the moment but I am hoping that the message board can cheer me up. I know that just writing it down will help me get it of my chest. I was told I have I.B.S in 2004 just after I started my degree. My g.p refered me to a specialist after I carried on complaining. The specialist is currently trying to eliminate other things that it could be but this has been going for nearly 3 years as I can`t afford to pay privately and am on the nhs. I feel like it will never end. Most of the time I just get on with it but some days, like today, it really gets to me and I feel like I can`t carry on. On top of ibs I am seeing a specialist concerning problems with my ovaries, this too has been going on for a while and the docs don`t know what it is. My skin has flared up badly and although my family and friends try to support me they don`t really understand. Recently I have been really run down and can`t shake my cold. I have missed loads of lectures at university and have loads of assaignments to complete as they go towards my final degree grade. Everything is getting on top of me and I am just looking for a place to vent my frustration and get some advice. Heathers books are a godsend but I am still struggling and don`t know what to do...sorry to moan! I just had to get it all out.
