I have a Doctor appointment on Friday 10th at 4pm to talk about my varicose veins in my legs.
I'm gonna see if I can do EVLT (Endo Venous Laser Treatment) instead..... it is about the third of the cost, can be done in about an hour (pre leg I think) and I would only miss like 1-2 days of work at the most. Not sure yet how much time away from the gym will be required, but I know it is less then if they were striped out... that would be close to 2 weeks....I would go CRAZY!!
I called Premera and they said I have to get the "proceeder codes" and "diagnosis codes" before they can tell me if it will be covered. But, he said that I do have out patient coverage, but to what extent will depend on those codes.
