I thought of you yesterday--my grandmother brought me a bag of the biggest fattest freshest & juiciest LEMONS from Florida. Lemons always make me feel better when I've got a cough/cold. (However, I won't presume that they do the same for you. I think it's the astringent aspect of lemons that helps most. Sunlight for the throat.) Perhaps spiking an unsafe beverage with cough syrup might help, too? Maybe someone will make you some "No-Chicken" soup. Chinese food (for some bizarre reason) always makes me feel better. No, Thai.
