Not to freak Vicam out, but what sort of potentially humorous "disasters" happened on your wedding day?

As I mentioned in another thread, I put my engagement ring on the wrong finger the morning of my wedding. I remember thinking it was going on awfully hard because I thought it was Mich's great-grandmother's ring. I even got the lotion out to ease it over my knuckle.

As soon as I realized what I'd done, it was too late! That ring was there but good! I decided I could either freak out about it or I could be calm and just be amused. I decided to just be amused.

It was less stressful.

I tried ice on it, lotion, everything I could think of. Even went to the hair salon and they brough me ice to soak my hand. In the end, I had to go to a jewelry store so they could cut it off my hand!

Then, we decided not to do the limo thing and asked a friend with an SUV to drive us. That friend forgot!

Luckily, our friends that have a minivan were still at the church and they gave us a ride. Otherwise, we would have squeezed into an usher's Saturn or called a cab!
