Oh my gosh! I thought the low sugar oatmeal meant they just put less sugar in it. I didn't realize it had Splenda in it, but I just checked the box and it does. But that must not be what was bothering me, because I have been eating that every morning----and I have been better the last several days.
Now the bread. That's another story. I'm not sure whether that's safe or not. I just read the list of ingredients and I lost my appetite! I don't see sorbitol or any of those other things you mentioned, but it does have high fructose corn syrup in it. Does all bread have that in it? It's not high on the list of ingredients (sort of in the middle of the list).
I think the culprit may have been some dairy products I was eating at the beginning of this weight loss journey. I had some small containers of light yogurt, a small thing of cottage cheese, and some Laughing Cow light cheese on crackers---all within a few days time. Since I stopped eating these things, I have been much better!!!
Thank you so much for your help. I need all the suggestions you can send my way.
