Hi BL! I would have missed this thread if Bev hadn't emailed me, I am so glad she did.

I know how badly you want to loose weight, and I hope that this is just a phase your body needs to go through before it accepts the fact that you are going to do this !! Until then, continue to lean on us, we want to help you through this and we know you can do it.

First, I have a friend who is a pharmacy tech, she says to take the Fish Oil, two caps three times a day. With food!!!
I've tried it before, but took it when I thought about it. Now with the food, it is not bothering me, and my colon feels lubricated ( if that makes any sense). I take it for cholesteral.

Have you tried the acidophillis(sp)? I used to take it at night when I had severe C, and it really helped me in the morning. I did finally realize that my horrible C was caused by a medication I was taking, Ambien. I hate that stuff, I was also addicted to it (we wont go there today...thats a whole new thread, ).

What type of bread are you eating, I found the sugar free Nature Valley, I like it. Also, I read in the WW threads that someone like the Sara Lee Delightful (2sl=1pt), I can't find it where I live.

Geni-soy proten powder was also mentioned there, I am going to try to find some. Last week my leader talked about making sure we get our protein. I am bad about not paying attention to the whole picture. This morning, I had two slices of turkey bacon(sprinkle this with a little EVOO, it makes it crispy), three egg whites scrambled with a little low fat mozarella and one slice of toast(dry). You know, this held me until about 2;00?? I couldn't believe it, and the egg whites taste the same as with the yolk. I haven't been able to eat eggs for years, but without that yolk, I can eat them. Maybe you need to eat an egg with the yolk to get a little extra fat? Not sure on the points there. You can also have a piece of toast with peanut butter (1TB) to get more protein. I have been able to stretch my points out through the day easier by just having a little more protein.
I have backed way off of the veggies though, trying to get away from the gastric upset. gasss.

Oh and you can have a package of Quaker Oats less sugar oatmeal, with a peice of toast and pnut butter for that protein.

I also keep chicken in the can, for something quick. I like to put balsamic vinegar in it, with a little bit of tomato and eat it with those cheddar fish crackers, I think it is 58+3pts. I eat those things all of the time, I throw a few into any of the Smart Ones meals to help stretch it out. I am not fond of chicken dinners, but I bought some chicken strips today, and I am going to package them for the freezer in individual servings, so I can pull it out and grill it in the Geo.Forman thing. I am eating more protein and cutting back on the vggies, maybe that might help you.

I know your back and feet really hurt you, I have lots of back and foot pain myself, and I know how the weight aggravates it. This doesn't have anything to do with the WW, but I bought a pair of Crocs at Christmas, and they do absorb so much shock. I wear them in the house, and almost everywhere I go, they aren't the best shoe when you are on your feet 8 hrs or more. But I do love them, and they seem to really help me. I can't stand a shoe across the top of my foot, or against the heel, and these Crocs do the job.(these shoes come in every color of the rainbow and more, they are not the most attractive shoe you will have in the closet, but hey, when in pain....)I have the khaki color,my sister has the black. Look in to them.

Anyway, dear friend, I have no idea how you have managed to build a new house and be in this kind of pain. I am in awe!

Get back with me, I have probably just told you a bunch of stuff you already know, but hey, just tryin to help! Hope it all gets better soon!
