I am not on weight watchers though I am on my own "reduction plan".
Starting January 1 of this year I cut out bread and pasta as our pastor encouraged us to fast something for the first 21 days. Then my daughter decided to fast sweets and since she is only 12 and this is her first fast I chose to join her. So I dropped bread...pasta and sugar for the first three weeks of the year.
I was so sick within days...dizzy spells, sluggishness, nausea, fatigue. I just wanted to crawl under a rock and cry. By the eighth day I was fine and I don't think that I will ever get started on major starchy food again. Eating a bunch of starchy stuff has never benefitted my IBS anyway.
I think your body is probably going through a degree of "detox" if you will. I have baked spelt bread and I put flax seed in it. I don't know if that will do for you what the oil does.
Being a major "C" in the past it is scary to try another diet not to mention dealing with the symptoms. It may take trial and error to find what works for you. I would just recommend that you stick to it and take it day by day to find what works for you. In Bev you have a wonderful friend and cheerleader. Bev is why I knit so she can be why you are going to succeed!
Just some thoughts...I hope this helps somehow.
