WOW! Your Nana lives near Tsawwassen?! REALLY? Nice place! We used to own a float home in Ladner, on the Fraser River, and we used to kayak down the River where it empties into the Georgia Straits. When we owned the float home, we also had a condo in the States (to satisfy Canadian Immigration) in a little town called Lynden, which is ON the border. When we sold the float home in Ladner, we built this place in the woods, which is between Lynden and Seattle, but closer to Lynden.
Did you follow all that nonsense?
We're actually closer to the border than we are to Seattle, and we have to get our weather forecast from Vancouver because we're greatly affected by the weather off the Fraser River Valley.
I don't mind the cold, I don't mind the rains, I don't mind the snow. But living here in the woods, with very old, tall fir trees looming over our home, I'm afraid of the winds. YOWZA!
