the girl we have settled on is priceless. She cleans my house, she truly loves my kids, she is courteous and a nice role model for them - we've even asked her to come to the beach with us this summer! I would not pay just some teenager up the street that kind of money to hang out at my house and make sure the kids are still breathing and nothing else... this girl really takes CARE of things (oh, and the dog too)... but the point of it, is that to KEEP her, we have to pay her competetively, which means 8$ an hour (she's 16). A college senior who sat a coupel times wanted 10$ hour!!
