I'm only sharing this because I know you'll understand Nelly...
I'm afraid I won't stop getting diagnoses now. (I have a thyroid nodule and one doc says it prob needs to come out...so it's not my imagination!) I've gotten so many I'm afraid to go to the doc and get told I have something else
I TOTALY understand! I was getting rash after rash and being told I didn't have allergies or an autoimmune disorder. My UROLOGIST told me I have an autoimmune disorder...who cares about a stupid RAST test he says. Not to mention many other occurences of similair things (won't list em for ya!)
This doc is going to be GREAT (hasn't someone else on the boards had a good try with them??) and we are ALL praying for you (and look at what all the prayers did for me with my surgery....NO COMPLICATIONS!)
Nelly...I would be terrified too! I need to see a rheumy to make sure my fibro DX is all there is And I'm scared no one will be honest with me...so why go? And I need to see an endo to see if my thyroid needs taking out. And I will need to see several docs to get concurring opinons before we do any major surgery!
The whole process is positively FRIGHTENING! So yes....feel your feelings and share them and get them out! This is what we are here for *hugs*
