Awww, sweetie. Breakups suck big time. I think if he said he wants to work things through, maybe he's waiting for you to make the next move. What you need to ask yourself is this: Are you really missing HIM or having someone in your life? Are the issues that caused you to break up irresolveable or something you're willing to work on? For the sake of peace of mind, I might drop him a quick phone call - don't dwell on things, but ask him if he feels the same - does he want to end things or give things another try and why. That way, at least the wondering will be over. It might be more painful in the short run - but at least you won't have any regrets in the long run. Just a suggestion to think about.
