Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | EEkk.... I think my computer is fried :(

I was at work .....working away...running reports...getting my qtr tax reports ready... I smell this "electrical smell" I bend down to smell...and POOF... all the power to my computer & monitor goes off. Everything else is still on. I check to see if any blown circuits on the wall...nothing... so, I call the computer guy...tell him...he said to unplug it from the wall and he will come pick it up this afternoon.

So, I have all the calls coming to my cell phone until 5pm and I'm going to go get my spa pedicure early...which is great cuz I have yoga tonight... I can flash my newly painted toe nails...hehehe

BUT...this is the MAIN computer at work with all the data on it.... and I don't think there has been a backup done since OCTOBER...eeekkkkkkk.... I PRAY it is not a fried hard drive...and maybe just a bad fan and the computer was just protecting itself... (any such luck??) I asked the computer guy to call my cell when he knew anything....
