knitting vs crochet??       01/18/06 08:15 AM Edit Reply Quote Lyndsey Reged: 02/16/05 Posts: 581 Loc: Bay Area, CA i know how to knit a simple stitch, which takes a year to complete like 3 rows, i'm going to michael's crafts today, and going to pick up a book on learning to crochet. but there is one of those "books for dummies" for both stitching and crochet. but the just crochet book has about 3 patterns to learn. which i think would be the best, so i don't get over whelemed and see a thousand different ways. i freak out wth too much info sometimes! what do you guys like better? i want to make some baby blankets, and baby stuff, and my daughter some stuff, and probablly stuff for others too. i know how to cast ON for knitting, but havne't gotten far enough to learn to cast OFF! and i'd known how to knit for about 4 years...haha..any good websites too for either stitch or crochet too????
