My idea of being a stay at home mom is not to volunteer for umpteen million things or keep a perfect house or be a gourmet cook. I figure, I am pouring myself into my kids now... that is my job, my purpose, my reason for being here... gives me focus. Of course homeschooling is even a different schedule than running the kids all over creation like this little snippet I wrote above... I don't miss that AT ALL! Now we keep a laid back, predictable routine and we all feel calm and happy and have various things we go out and do but otherwise we are here, together, doing our thing. Not stressful at all compared to the alternative.

All of us are meant for different things, this is what I feel I was made to do and called to do and that is why I find my joy in doing it.
