Well, its great to know what's wrong adn it sucks to know something is really wrong! I really feel for you and we will all be here for you to help you get through it. I don't know what Pelvic floor syndrome is - sounds like something purely muscular? If so I may have some ideas for you when you get through the surgery, I'm guessing that one's not the priority right now?
For now, I think you need some escapism - fun/or trashy novels, renting some of your favorite movies, something that is just fun and mindless and can take your mind off of things for little bits of time. I'm sure the knitting idea would work too, its probably kind of meditative once you get into it, but I'm thinking something that will just let you shut down for an hour or 2 here and there to rest your head!
Who do you have for support outside of your husband? - It would be nice if you have any family or friends who are close, and could both see you now and help get your mind off things and maybe be there for support during your surgery - I mean someone who will help you and your husband out a little with making some meals or doing a sink full of dishes for you. It will be nice if you can have support right now, and also know that you don't have to worry about any of the little things. Oh this sounds like it will be hard, but hopefully by the end of this month, you will be telling us how much your symptoms are relieved! Take care of yourself, Dan
