I was for the 1st time (though I'd diagnosed myself with this...it doesn't count) diagnosed with a 3)autoimmune disorder. THIS is why, according to the doc, I have rashes and welts that come and go.
And IC on the way.
The doc told me I can NEVER deviate from the IC diet.
Surgery the 26th of Jan. Will be put out with generalized anisthesia. Possible biopasies of legions during procedure and catheter to wear home.
I am being given an antihystamine for the rashes. I am HAPPY about this! At least I know why now, y'know!
This doc rocks...spent over an hour with me! Explained things. Believes diet is KEY! (But there are other things too...some of them not so nice.)
Still in gobbs of pain. Have lots of charts the doc gave me to keep track of foods, pain, acidity, and such.
I'm overhwlemed! Busy day y'know Def glad I found such a good doc! That's for sure. NOT happy to have so many new Dx to add to my name. (Even though I suspected them...it's NOT cool having them confirmed. Can't I be wrong?!)
P.S. Am having the ultrasound for endo. done at the hospital the day I have the pre-op surgery. Could actualy be a total of 5 Dx when all is said and done. And lets not forget the thyroid nodule that they keep checking for cancer....
Oy.
Long day. No chocolate for this gal. Must find new fix. Any ideas?
