I don't know about thyroid problems, but I did lose a ton of hair after my first baby. I know what you mean about fall (I think). I have this sense of foreboding that the viruses are coming. I am in deep cleaning mode, but too tired to do all that I want. Part of that may be the nesting instinct. I am due 2 months from today. I am obsessed with the thought that I will have this baby early, but just still in disbelief that I have gotten this far!
You mentioned that ibs was under control. How long did that take after the C-section? I am so used to eating whatever I want now that it will be hard to go back to restricting myself. People around me have finally started to believe that it truly is a physical issue, not just emotional when they see what I can eat now versus what I could have before. For now, I continue my love affair with cheese.
Hang in there with the OCD. I'm sure, like me you are too tired to do all the things that your mind is telling you you need to do. Funny how life goes on even if we don't clean.
