The good news is, if you get that form filled by your doctor, they can't fire you for having a declared illness. There are workers' laws against that. In fact you've been up front and totally wide open about this from the start. You've concealed nothing from them!
I get it, and I think they get it too.
They can't do anything as llong as you stay open about your medical condition. I mean fer goshsakes, you MENTIONED it in your INTERVIEW!
Hold your head high, and get as many managers on your side as you can. In the meantime, just act professional and pretend to be cheery while at the office (as you stab a plastic fork into your leg under your desk ). If you want to look for another job, go ahead and go on an interview.
But please don't stress. Every workplace has people who are going through personal problems. I guarantee, you're not alone!
