Ugh, NY can really p&ss me off sometimes       12/13/05 06:04 AM Edit Reply Quote TommyNY Reged: 04/29/04 Posts: 1530 So it is freezing here in NY and what do we have to look forward to at the end of the week? A possible transit strike! Both labor and management are being unreasonable in their demands and the union wants to strike. A strike would devastate the city and it would be illegal under a state law. It would cost the city $1.6 billion a week if there is a strike. I liken a strike to economic terrorism. Now I have no problems with uniions (my mom is in one) but for the tranist workers to think they are more important than cops or firefighters is ridiculous. Anyway, I know I will take some heat for this post but I just had to vent.
