I take Concerta for ADHD too and I also have an anxiety disorder, but the Concerta doesn't make the anxiety worse; it's not the same kind of stimulant. Concerta stimulates dopamine which should settle the mind, not aggravate it. But then again, everyone responds differently to meds. I think that it's really a good idea to take him to the behavior counselor. As good as medication is for ADHD, it usually works best with behavior mod, so I think it'll get better. I hope it all works out for you and starts getting better. Good luck.
