Seriously. Most days I feel like the cowardly lion, the scarecrow, and the tin man--fearful and brainless and heartless--stale & internally dead and only living because it is the legally correct thing to do.

Indeed, I need a soul transfusion.

I lost passion when I lost my hair and now that's back. I cannot use that as an excuse to hide in my dark abode.

(When I say dark, I'm not joking--black blinds/curtains even. Hardly a trace of light squeezes through.)

I'm not depressed. Just "blah" or "humbug" or "flat."

Someone that views herself as a lost cause and hasn't even picked up a newspaper or watched the news in years or voted or could rattle off the names of world leader or a recent event of importance.

It's very poignant, though, Ruchie and thanks for sharing.
