I wear "hippie clothes" like that a lot when it's not freezing here (well, except for the apron tops, which I have too much chest for!), and I can vouch for them being super-comfortable. I even have a skirt that's a lot like her always-fitting wrap pants. It's basically a tube of fabric that you fold over and tie, like those, but about at high hip, and then you fold the waistband part over the tie to hold it.
