I wouldn't do it! If your hair is sparse and thin you'll probably stress it out, and your poor scalp. Truly, I'm deeply concerned. Hair colourants are pretty harsh chemicals and your hair sounds pretty weak as it is.
Do pamper yourself, though. Maybe a trim? A deep conditioning treatment? A massage? Exfoliate something or wax something? Manicure? Pedicure?
I don't want you to fry your hair.
I'm going to get a trim in about 3 weeks, I think. No more gaps--it's going curly! Totally the big hair of my youth! Something pixie-like/gamine...you know...Audrey Hepburn--sophisticated and naughty at the same time. It will show off my HUGE eyes and Eastern European cheekbones.
It's just amazing, though...NO GAPS...it just needs time, nutrition, and well...NO STRESS to grow...you know, like herbs or flowers or well...anything in a garden! Water and happy thoughts, too. Definitely. Anti-OXIDENTS!
