He pricks his finger twice a day, too. I know it will be very hard to stay away from bread, potatoes, etc. but hopefully the nutritionist will be able to help you with some things you can eat. I'm sure it will be a little confusing at first but you'll get the hang of it. There are also a lot of sites on the web with some good low carb and low sugar recipes.
