Re: UTI's and IBS don't mix well       09/21/05 08:47 PM Edit Reply Quote JLL24 Reged: 09/23/04 Posts: 312 UTI's are awful!!! I have UC and the meds they gave for the first UTI gave me really bad D. But the next time I had a UTI they put me on Cipro for it and it didn't affect my bowels at all. Apparently Cipro is good for UC b/c it firms it up a bit. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
