I can't believe it's been 4 years, either. At the time, I was living near D.C., so it was a double horror for me: watching events unfold in NY, so close to home, and freaking out because of what was happening just a relatively few miles from where I slept.

I don't believe I'll ever forget 9/11 as long as I live - it still saddens me, and makes me very, very angry - but may we all remember the innocent lives lost, as well as those of our "everyday heroes", the rescue personnel who were lost.
