Where I live, they had the police, firemen, and EMT's run the sirens as they slowly drove down the street. People were holding up signs to support them and to remember all the people who died that day. There was a huge American flag flying at the end. It was really touching to see everyone lined along the streets paying respect to the workers and the victims.
