AGAIN! ANOTHER BAD DENTIST EXPERIENCE!!
After waiting for waaay over a month to get my first appointment for my crown and a filling done, I went in today. After all my bad experiences, it is an understatement to say that I was nervous when I arrived. I was shaking and I had to take like 4 immodium after not eating for the previous 24 hours and my stomach still was churning and awful. They take me in, and give me a valium because I was really freakin'. They start to freeze me... this is the part that scares me, so I try and just struggle through it. And I do. And then nothing. So more needles, more freezing. Still noting. More needles. Are you bloody kidding me? It won't freeze. I got through the really hard part, and nothing. So they sent me away!!! After 2 HOURS of getting needles, they sent me away and I have another appointment for next Monday at another office where they are going to give me the laughing gas and THEN then the needles to try to make me frozen enough to get the work done. Now my mouth is killing me, even after taking extra strength tylenol and it hrts every time I swallow. All that, and no work done. Needless to say, I am beyond frustrated and traumatised. I am so tired of going to the <censored>ing dentist!!! Why have none of my other friends had crowns? Why do MY teeth have all these problems?? *stomps her feet* NOFAIRNOFAIR!!
Okay, done temper tantrum. To make today even better, I had to go to the eye doctor and turns out I am having a bad reaction to SOMETHING and there are bumps and rough areas all over the inside of my eyelids that have scratched my corneas and made them inflamed and dry. I can't wear my contacts, have to put drops in 4 times a day and had to buy more expensive solution and rinse. I wish it were me, not Adrian, getting the laser eye surgery. He doesn't even want the surgery, and can see fine without glasses.. I am blind as a bat and would kill for the surgery. Ironic, no?
What a crapola day! Adrian's Brit friend is here visiting, my mouth is so sore from all the needles that I am at home on the couch while they are out on the town. Tomorrow had better be a better day, or I will have some serious butt to kick.. I dunno who's, but I'll find someone!! Thanks for letting me vent, guys! (As always!) --Steph
