I hate telemarketers

I just recently got a home phone number after not having one for a year (just used my cell).

NO ONE has this number except for my parents, a few friends and the condo assoc manager.

HOWEVER I've been getting calls all hours of the day at least five times a day from stupid telemarketers!!!!

save policemen's families foudations, boston globe, new cable companies, save animals, etc.
you name it- they've called me (and i've only had this phone a WEEK now!)

anyone have any advice on how to take care of this? is there a website or somewhere you can send something to get them to all stop calling?
