Steph, I think that's great. My priest said a few weeks ago in his sermon that basically what you focus on in your life is what grows. If you focus on money, your money will increase, because you'll be working so hard at it. If you focus on lust, your lust will increase, etc. If you focus on depression and negativity, it will increase too. But if you focus on your mind, on your spirituality, on your charity, your patience, your love for your neighbor, etc, those things will grow. Since then I've tried really hard not to dwell on stress or negativity, and I think it's helped somewhat. You've done the hypno tapes, right? I find them really encouraging because he's always saying things like "you've taken a big step in taking care of yourself, etc ..." and that makes me feel more optomistic.
