Ok, I'm going to try this but I'm so bad at figuring out how to post pictures...so fingers crossed this works.
This is my cat Mr. Bojangles: You can kinda see his paws in the picture...he's a polydactyl so he has two extra toes on his front paws that he can use as opposable thumbs (not always a good thing!).

Also, I don't have any pictures of my family dog loaded into my computer, but he was such a sweetie and I found one that looks like him, so I'll post that too. He passed away a few years ago but was just the biggest sweetheart ever (and I do mean big, all 150lbs of him!):
