INFO ON GETTING FREE MEDS       08/02/05 05:46 AM Edit Reply Quote barbie Reged: 04/22/04 Posts: 2435 Loc: Texas My Sister is low income and has no health care and no medicaid. She is on Prozac and the more inexpensive generic doesn't agree with her. The Prozac is very expensive...about $250 per month. Anyway, I found a Patient Assistance Program from the manufacturer (Lilly) and contacted them. They sent out a form that her doctor fills out and sends back to them. She has been getting her Prozac free for several years now on this program. Just go online and check under the manufacturer of your meds or do a general search on Medications, Patient Assistance Programs.
