The poster whose doctor said it caused worse constipation than before even taking it made it sound like this is a permanent condition. Like when you take laxatives and then your body just loses it's ability to ever go.

I don't understand why my doctor has me on it now for close to a year without any advice on it...oh yeah, he's an idiot!But he shouldn't be dispensing drugs in a harmful manner.

I might have to resort to MOM for a while, hopefully just a little while (please let it be only a little while). But I worry the MOM might have the same cathartic colon causing effect.

I'm posting on the LR board because I just am so upset and scared and I think this is the best place to get the emotional support.

Weird, Ruchie is scared to start a drug and I'm freaking out over trying to stop one. But I worry about the long term effects of this drug. It is so new...and who knows what damage it may be doing. That's the reason I decided to stop it, btw. Just to many unkowns without enough "positive" outcome (ie. BMs)
