I, too, have been living with obnoxious apartment neighbors for years. Why can't people just be considerate and respect each other??? I hate renting and dream of the day I can get out of this shared living environment. It's horrible not having any control over other people's actions, even though it greatly affects your health(mental and physical). My IBS is in high gear when things get really bad hear. When I finally complained to my landlord (very assertively and politely) he told me that I was the problem and that people shouldn't have to live on eggshells because I thought their music/slamming doors/partying was too loud. He said that comes with living in an apartment...and that I shouldn't complain to him again.
