Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

We are moving about 15 miles away to a better school district and a bigger house. I have been packing my head off, I suppose it has something do to with having been in the military we hate paying for movers!

I keep forgetting that I am 8 years older than the last time I did this...still think I am "SUPER-PACKER"! My back is telling me otherwise and it isn't even a lifting from the legs thing because I do that, I think it is all of the reaching, bending and so forth. Oh joy...aging just isn't fun!

The good news is that though the people in the house haven't moved yet, they are allowing us to move our things into the second floor so I can get a great deal of moving done before we move in all of our big stuff. Meanwhile I am raiding Sams Warehouse for free boxes...its rather hilarious trying to move one of those flatbeds piled high with boxes and trying not to run over little old ladies in the parking lot! My daughter thinks its a bit of adventure!

I have also raided liquor stores as their boxes are the sturdiest and perfect for kitchen items. Our neighbors are going to think we are alcoholics!

After this move I hope it is a very long time before we move again! If anyone has any good moving tips...please share!
