Don't do what DH and I did!!       07/07/05 02:19 PM Edit Reply Quote RachelT Reged: 07/01/04 Posts: 2350 Loc: Minnesota Last May we were installing wood floor in our kitchen/dining room during what we thought was just an intense thunderstorm. At one point DH got up and looked outside and called me to the window. We sat there looking at what looked like a fire about 2 blocks away... you know... black smoke. NOT!!! We found out later that week that it was a tornado touching down. Mental head slap!!!! I never in my wildest dreams thought that I wouldn't recognize a tornado... I've been a weather watcher for years and have always wanted to be a storm chaser.
