Obviously you didn't take into account the masses or horrible luck I have been having lately or you wouldn't have been so quick to tell me not to worry!!
So yeah, it didn't go well. At all.
First the adavan didn't work, the dentist admitted he made a mistake in telling me how much to take. He said I should definitely take more for any results, but then wouldn't let me take it 'cause he said I'd be fine.
I had a total panick attack during the needle part and seriously almost pushed the dentist away from me.. but managed not to.
He kept asking if my lip was frozen, I kept saying no, he apparently didn't believe me and became to work on my tooth with the inflamed nerve at which point I screamed bloody murder because I _COULD_ feel my damn lip like I said, so it WASN'T frozen. It shot pain all over my body, I almost threw up.
So what next? Oh yeah, more needles. Lots and lots of needles, the exact thing I was afraid of.
I was totaly awake and aware of what was going on, and had clenched kleenex between my hands that the assistant lady kept trying to take and tell me to relax. And whilst doing the other things, he broke the entire inside of a tooth which he says now will probably ALSO need a root canal and a crown, so great.
OH, and by the time I can get in for that one, I will have no dental coverage and will spend hundreds, maybe over a thousand.. dollars to get them fixed.
I got home and went to sleep for a while, but the pain was really bad and I couldn't get comfortable. I finally gave in and took some extra strength tylenol, which did mess up my stomach.
So I spent the rest of the day at home by myself, crying and trying to sleep.
Oh, and because the other parts went so poorly, he didn't have time to do the other two small filings he wanted to do so I have to go back and get those done soon... Well, not too soon, as they put so many injections into my jaw that I can't open my mouth. Nice.
Let's hope my colonoscopy goes as well as this!
