Hey Guys, I need some advice. I take my BC pills consecutively to avoid getting a period. I usually break for 7 days every 6-7 months. Well, I don't know what's going on with me, but I've been so sick this last week from my Effexor withdrawal that I just realized I haven't taken my pill for 3 days! My period is just starting to come on, and I'm really upset because I'm going out of town this week for shopping and a trip to the zoo and won't be able to go if I've got my period.
So, my question is, can I recommence taking BC tonight? Would that screw things up? I'm not concerned about protection against pregnancy. My pills are mono-phasic so I figured it'd be ok, hopefully hold my period at bay and I can take an "official" 7-day break next month.
What do you guys think? I can't get ahold of my doc until tomorrow and I want to take one tonight. Thanks, Kelly
