I didn't realize they prescribed Asacol for IBS, do you find that it helps you?
I have had ulcerative colitis for 2 yrs and when I was initially diagnosed they prescribed 6 tabs of Asacol/day. It didn't work well for me at all so they switched it a couple of different times. Now my meds are stronger and working well.
Hopefully this colonoscopy will give them some answers.
I know the feeling about being unstable and taking public transport. I was very unstable for about 6 mos. and had to commute to work an hour and fifteen mins. using subway and bus.
