Hi Emma-Lee,
It does sound like you have an awful lot on your plate. I can't say for sure if I think you should see a psychologist, but I will try to throw my two cents in and see if it helps any. The first thing that came into my mind was that unless you have some sort of coverage (in which case this might not apply), seeing a psychologist an be really expensive.. as I just found out! I just noticed that you said you are worrying about debts, and with psychologists charging anywhere up around $100 an hour, it can be kind of financially draining depending on how often you want to see someone. Other than that, I guess it just depends on what you are looking for by seeing a psychologist. If you just want some advice on how to manage your time and handle stress, you might only need a few sessions just to get some ideas and then that might be a good idea. I would say that _ideally_ you would only be working full time, or going to school full time. I know for the program I wanted to get into for September, the advisor told me I could absolutely not work while in school because the workload was so heavy. Are you paying for school by yourself right now? I am just wondering if you can apply for some scholarships, grants, bursaries, loans.. everything you can really to try to get financial assistance for school so that you can just concentrate on school and get it over with faster? What about co-op programs? Does your school have anything like that where both your school and working are going towards the same thing?
As for your boyfriend, I can't really offer too much advice 'cause I don't really know about your guys' situation and stuff. Are you guys living together at the moment? I think that if you love each other and you still want to be around each other a lot, you should be able to work it out. Is he busy as well? I think it actually easier if both people are busy, rather than one sort of waiting around for the other if you know what I mean..
Anyway, I hope you get some other good advice and that you can work things out!
Good luck! --Steph
