I know what you and he are going through. I've had about a dozen moles removed. All were ok but one that was on my arm. It was cancerous but the dermatologist did get all he could and gave me this cream called Aldera and I used it for about 6 months. The medicine then got down deeper as I guess a double dose in case he didn't get it all. Worked. I don't have any signs of it. I do, however, put extra sunscreen where it was just in case.
