Sorry to hear about your goings on with your dad. We, thank goodness, never had an intervention with my dad. He kinda decided on his own to go into rehab. Of course my mom threatening to leave him helped too I'm sure We did, however, had to go to numerous family sessions while he was in Rehab and that was hard. I hope your dad makes that decision too. It sounds like he's headed in the right direction though with cooperating to see someone. It must have been so hard for you and your family to do. You guys are so brave and deserve so much for doing that.
My dad has been sober for 20 years this month so there is hope
