Like you said, I'm usually too full from eating IF to eat the SF beforehand. The cereal I eat is a brown rice powder (very fine) cereal and I eat it with peeled cooked nectarine (SF)and a little flax powder.
For lunch, I eat the millet (IF) mixed into a squash/carrot/sweet potato soup (SF) and maybe add a little more flax (1 tsp). Or one piece of white rice bread (SF)with peeled cooked zucchini first (SF), followed by a piece of millet flax bread (IF) with unpeeled cooked zucchini (IF)with eggwhites.
My snack is corn meal cereal (sf) or an apple (used to be baked and peeled, now trying straight baked unpeeled (IF)) alone(no food beforehand)about 2 hours after lunch.
For dinner, I either have cooked millet or brown rice pasta (IF) with a soluble veggie (pumpkin) and a little cooked unpeeled zuchinni. Or quinoa or white rice noodles (SF) with cooked spinach or pureed cooked green bean (IF).
But with the gastroparesis, I'm really confused about whether I should be trying to increase any types of fiber since the GP diet says LOW FIBER is essential. The diet guidlelines say no fresh fruits or whole grains at all. And definitely no SFS. I am in a quandry here. I know I need the IF for constipation, but according to the GP diet, this is horrible and is making me feel stuffed so early and makes it hard to get the cals and food in that I need.
I'm emailing Casey my meals now in hopes of having someone straighten me out!
Sorry this is in the Living room and not the eating board, but this is where the post started.
