You must be new!  Yes, a bunch of us do it. Imodium is the reason I can lead a normal life. It gets expensive though, so we get prescriptions from our doctors (so it's only a $10 co-pay). I get kidney and liver function tests, plus glucose levels every 6 months, and I'm normal, always have been (according to tests!) . I've been taking imodium like this for about 7 years now, and it's gone a long way towards keeping me stable!!
So yes, you can take 20 a day, yes it is safe, and yes those of us on the boards who do, swear by it! Thanks for asking!
