I just met Mindy for the first time ever!! What a great talk we had, and I was having so much fun just relaxing and talking like we knew each other for years, I didn't even notice how late I was making her to go back to work!  
Turns out I was in the city for a bit and we totally just met up and had the nicest conversation! Can I just say, Min is *gorgeous* and completely the same as she is on the boards: kind, attentive, bright, and very knowledgable! The time just flew by and I could have easily sat there for a couple hours and not even noticed! 
Guys, I cannot stress enough how great it is meeting a board member in person. It's so uplifting and reaffirming having a real live friend who knows you and is going through the same pressures/burdens/small pleasures you have! Imagine how great it is knowing there are all of us here on the site rooting for you, and then magnify it! It gives me such a great feeling when I meet you guys. And it's so good to put a face with a name! 
So we talked about figuring out when we first had IBS, the support of our significant others, the burden of scheduling around potential attacks, and the number of pills we take a day, all sorts of stuff. We even talked a little at the end about heading to Baltimore on Memorial day weekend to visit with Amie, who'll be visiting from Michigan! I hope it works out, because it'd be so nice to have another outing soon!
