I've heard that it's because ovarian cancer signs/symptoms can be very vague and can mimic other problems such as IBS. It's not super common though so I would try not to worry Easier said then done, I know. I believe there is a blood test they can do for it, CA125 it's called...I actually had it done because I have endometriosis and it can sometimes indicate if the disease is getting worse.
